The Epitome of Vancouver:
Starbucks, black
Kombucha, organic
Whole Foods, bulk
Robson Street, people watching

Tucked into the bright houses and now quirky ambience of Strathcona, this was the perfect pitstop after a day of photographing chipped paint, strangers’ kids, and cute Asian men strolling out of China Town. The coffee was great, the pastries were sugary, but the best part? The Wilder Snail doubles as a health corner store filled with organic, local, natural goodies. I even got me some peppermint Dr. Bronner’s. Now that’s a cafe!

“yeah, I guess I’ll keep an eye on that"

Come on in! We’re open! No cafe is complete without a set of figure skates.

Table with a view, for two, please!
Best way to spend a sunny day in Vancouver, people watching in Gastown.

So the coffee cups look like dented plastic cups (but they’re ceramic) and the water cups are cleaned out mason jars. Love at first sight or what?
